The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. It is one of

the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations committed to enriching, sustaining,

and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other people of African

ancestry. Our collective reach spans more than 17,000 professional women of color serving in 299

chapters across 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the

United Kingdom. It’s through our commitment to our respective communities that the organization

has contributed more than $24 million dollars to charitable causes through our philanthropic arm, The

Links Foundation, Incorporated, and our members have served more than one million volunteer hours

Since 1952, the Memphis (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has worked to implement

innovative and impactful initiatives that address the most critical needs of our community. For more

than 30 of those years, one of those programs has been our Cotillion Leadership and Service

Program, which helps prepare young, African-American ladies to succeed in college, adulthood,

social responsibility, and beyond. From workshops and services projects to our culminating holiday

Debutante presentation, we’re helping to pave the way for the next generation of professionals,

leaders, neighbors, role models, and friends.

Our Chapter’s service programs and projects are made possible through generous donations by

companies and community leaders like you. These contributions have increased access to higher

education, supported general education, contributed to the arts, and provided grants to many local
